Auld Lang Syne

Around the world tonight people will be celebrating the New Year. Did you know that New Years is one of the oldest holidays? Feasting on lucky foods is an ancient tradition. My family always eats Mutant Sprouts on New Years and we sing, "Old Plain Slime." Here's a photo of Furi Baby New Year.
In Spain, Portugal, Italy, and South America 12 grapes are eaten for prosperity. In China, Jaiozi (dumplings) are eaten because they symbolize wealth. Fish, pork, cabbage, black-eyed peas, and fruitcake are also eaten all over the world.
For Chinese New Year, a multi-course meal is served. In Scotland,Hogmanay is celebrated. In Venezuela it's good luck to wear yellow underwear (Pants of Power anyone?).
What country are you from and what kinds of traditions do you and your family celebrate? Oh yeah, and what are your New Years Resolutions? I've GOT to stop juggling my eyes. I get bored ya know... and then I drop 'em... and there's nothing worse than fuzz in your eyes!
Keep your eyes at hand... and off the floor!
